We stock our section of Fall River right from our bridge! Pan-sized rainbow trout are the most common catch but Kirk (from Kirk's FlyShop) caught a 19" trout this summer. Fishing is a popular activity with young and old, experienced and novice fishers.
Even though we provide the fish, the state requires a license if you're 16 or older. Sporting shops in town and Tru Value Hardware sell them. Anglers usually bring their own tackle but Scott's Sporting Goods (970 586-2877) rents some.
The fisherman at the right is Tom Greenan, a long-time guest at Castle Mountain and an expert, enthusiastic fisherman. In this photo he is fishing in front of his favorite suite, Little River.
