Fishing at Castle

Cast your worries aside when you cross our covered bridge.

Stocked a few times throughout the summer, there’s always fish to be caught along our 1000 feet of fall river. Many of our long time guests have made a tradition of fishing in Estes Park by spending an evening on the river to catch their dinner the old fashioned way. Cast your line in while the rest of your family enjoys time at the fire pit. Once the days catch has been made, fry them up right along the river for an experience you’ll never forget.

Fly fishing in Estes Park doesn’t get any better! Rainbows, Brookies, and Browns can be found in our waters, and you’re free to roam up and down our property in search of that perfect fish. All sizes are caught regularly. You can expect to catch anywhere from a 5 inch native fish up to an 18 inch monster.

Head down to Scot’s Sporting Goods to get the best flies to use during your stay, and grab your license there too, as well as any odds and ends you may need. If you’re looking for worms, you can find those Scot’s as well. And we have a variety of rods for your use during your stay. Come to the office to inquire! Good luck!
